Chief Technology Officer

As the CTO, you will lead a growing engineering organization responsible for developing and delivering cutting edge technology solutions. You will play a significant role in developing the company’s strategy and align engineering infrastructure and capital with that strategy. You will also help the company achieve its short- and long-term goals by focusing the right engineering resources in the right place at the right time.

We are is looking for a leader who will drive the overarching technical vision that is at the very foundation of WePro: to build cost-efficient and effective products, and manage a global team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering team and maintain a culture of agile and collaborative software development with efficiency, cultivate a willingness to experiment, disrupt, fail, succeed, and keep trying throughout the organization.
  • Lead our technical vision and define WePro’s overall technology strategy to support business objectives.
  • Oversee engineering organization including management of people, budget planning, performance evaluation, and compensation.
  • Establish synergies between the Product and Engineering organizations to drive collaborative growth and collectively improve both teams.
  • Define and achieve technical roadmaps, deliverables, and relevant KPIs.
  • Lead a culture driven by growth-mindset and innovation; maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
  • Make strategic and pragmatic infrastructure decisions, ensure technical excellence, versatility, security, and scalability in the building and engineering of technical product solutions and managing all technical delivery.
  • Foster high-performing team-building capabilities, and manage the development of Engineering leaders.
  • Create close and effective relationships  with executives and key stakeholders, driving cross-functional collaboration between Engineering and Product, Design, Content, Marketing, Revenue, and GTM to drive strategy, vision, and execution.
  • Advance the company’s technical capacity and progress by monitoring the latest digital trends, identifying potential opportunities for the company, and focusing efforts accordingly.
Experience and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in the engineering field, including hands-on experience in software development (SDLC), cloud-based technical architecture, product management.
  • 3+ years of experience as a CTO or similar position leading, supervising, and managing teams and products at a scaling company.
  • Experience with leading a team in an experiment-driven/entrepreneurial environment helping launch new products, services, experiences, and services.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal leadership skills: the ability to motivate, mentor, coach and develop people into top performers.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field.
